Mandatory safety training
Friday, 17 May 2013 17:02

Recent events have necessitated additional safety training for all LGC members. The Executive Committee is preparing a short (15-30 minutes) briefing and will be presenting it at various times over the next several weeks. The first two are tomorrow (18 May) and Sunday (19 May) at 08:00. We will post additional dates and times on the club (Google) calendar.

Please make every effort to attend one of the briefings. The gate code is changing after the June business meeting and everyone who attends one of the briefings will receive the new gate code and a sticker for their ID card. You must attend a briefing and have this sticker affixed to your ID card to shoot on LGC bays after the June meeting.

Please accept our apologies for the short notice and inconvenience but safety must come first.

A copy of the presentation used in the briefing is available on the 'Documents and forms' page.

Friends of NRA committee forming.
Sunday, 07 April 2013 11:27

Mark Tennant is once again heading up LGC's portion of the Livingston County Friends of the NRA banquet. There is always more work than people to do it and Mark is looking for volunteers. Money raised by Friends of the NRA is used to fund grants to clubs and other groups involved in firearm safety instruction. We typically use grant money to fund our youth and women's programs.

If you have some time and would like to help with something that benefits the club and helps NRA protect our Second Amendment rights contact Mark. You can e-mail him through the ''Contacts'' page.
