September 2003 Construction Update
We
will be insulating the clubhouse for the winter months on Sunday, October
19th. This will insure that we can utilize the building for meetings through
the winter, and accommodate our membership. We will be heating it this year
with propane powered radiant heaters which the club already has. For those of
you who are short on work hours, this is a prime opportunity to acquire those
hours needed to insure your working membership requirements are met. This
will be run as a regular work party, and other button-up things will be done
on the ranges to insure that the ranges and props are ready for winter storage
and maintenance. The building will also enable us to work on range props and
targets in the winter as well. This is a critical step that must be taken
before the cold sets in, so put it on your calendar!!! We will need screwguns
(already charged), staplers, ladders (8 foot), razor knives, and hammers.
Please bring what you can. The materials will be dropped on Saturday, so we
will have everything we need to complete this critical project. This is not
real labor -intensive work, so anyone can assist. We just need a lot of
bodies. We will also have machinery (bobcats) on hand to assist us with the
range clean-up. Please make every effort to make yourself available for this
date, as we are running out of time!
